Dotty is a product of RuthNel (Pty) Ltd t/a RuthNel Group (registration 2025/219941/07), Pretoria, South Africa. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Our Information Officer is registered with the Information Regulator.

The Dotty app

The Dotty journal and tracker stores cycle, mood, body and journal entries only on the user's own device. No account is required, and this information is not sent to us or to third parties.

Care pack orders

When a parent or guardian places an order we collect name, email, mobile number and delivery address, solely to process payment, deliver the order and communicate about it. Payments are processed by PayFast or Yoco; we never receive or store card details.

Children

Orders must be placed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

Launch list

If you join the app launch list, we use your email only to tell you about Dotty. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Sharing & retention

We share delivery details only with our courier for the purpose of delivery. Order records are kept for as long as required by South African tax and consumer law, then securely deleted.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its processing, by emailing dotty@ruthnel.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).

Website storage

This site uses your browser's local storage only to remember the items in your bag. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
